At Cali KC, we believe the best coffee and cocktails don't need a long backstory — they need good ingredients, skilled hands, and the patience to get it right. We source single-origin beans from farms that treat their land well, and we build our drink menu around what's seasonal and what tastes true.

About Cali KC
Cali KC lives on the east side of Highway 40 in Independence — not as a destination you rush through, but as a place you arrive at when you want something made well and served without fuss.
We opened with a simple idea: coffee people and cocktail people shouldn't have to choose. So we built a room that works for both — bright and quiet in the morning, warm and unhurried after dark. The same counter. The same attention. Just a different drink in your hand.
Everything we serve is made in-house. Our beans are roasted to order. Our syrups are reduced from scratch. Our garnishes are cut, not peeled from a packet. It's a small thing, but it's the whole thing.
Hours
We keep hours that make sense — early enough for the morning crowd, late enough for the evening. No reservations needed. Just walk in.
